Road trip - day 1

Last night, after work, consisted of cleaning house, packing kids, packing dogs, packing us, feeding cats n hedgehog, dropping off dogs, dropping off Wildcat, grocery store snack run, dinner, dropping off Dragon…. a couple of drinks with friends, home… bed.
We were on the road @ 6:03am this morning. Picked up James n hit the highway.
We have 1000 miles to go today. As of now, we’ve gone 270… with a couple of breaks.
It’s good tho. It’s a beautiful day. We’re all coffeed-up. Cd’s playing.
Music n friends make for a great drive.

1000 miles in a day? In ground transportation? Jeebus! I don’t think I was ever that young.

we’re 20 minutes from being there…. stopped in abita, la to enjoy dinner and turbo dog (at the place it’s made!!) it’s been a long, but great day!
